Jon Powell is Head of Operations at KE Costs.  He is a qualified Costs Lawyer (2015) and member of the Association of Costs Lawyers. He has over ten years’ experience in Civil Costs and has dealt with high-value, complex litigation cases where sums in issue have been in the millions of pounds.

Jon is skilled in preparing Bills of Costs, including new Precedent S compliant “Electronic” Bill of Costs, Costs Budgets, and Points of Dispute/Reply and has appeared at Court in CCMCs.  He has an excellent eye for detail and is an integral member of the Management team at KE Costs Lawyers.

Having worked for some of the North-West’s leading Costs firms, Jon joined the KE team in October 2019 and primarily manages the company’s performance in complying with service level agreements and external reporting to Clients. Jon also assists with internal training to ensure that the team are fully up to date and compliant with relevant changes to CPR and updates on relevant case law, and manages the day to day performance of the drafting and negotiations teams.

In his spare time, Jon enjoys following Liverpool FC, attending the gym and spending time with his young family.
